Melissa Bullen is a CareerTech leader and computer science educator with over 25 years of experience in secondary education. Melissa’s background spans computer science, graphic design, and multimedia, with a focus on building programs that provide students with real-world, industry-aligned experiences. She has served as a department head, academy coordinator, and student organization sponsor, and is known for creating engaging, hands-on learning environments that connect classroom instruction to future careers. Melissa serves as State President of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) and is a member of the national writing team for the Computer Science Teachers Association Computer Science Standards. She is also an experienced AP Computer Science Principles Reader. Melissa is dedicated to empowering educators and students through innovative, standards-aligned instruction that prepares learners to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
