Every student who walks away from math, avoids the coding elective, or talks themselves out of AP Science did so for a reason — and more often than not, an educator had the power to write a different ending. This workshop is for teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff who want to be that person. Through evidence-based strategies, open discussion, and hands-on practice, participants will examine unconscious bias in grading, classroom dynamics, and curriculum design; build inclusive, affirming STEM environments; and connect students to role models, mentors, and pathways they didn't know existed. Every attendee will leave with a concrete, classroom-ready plan they can implement immediately. This isn't about lowering the bar — it's about making sure every student knows they can clear it. Because the future of STEM depends on the educators who refuse to let talent go unnoticed.
