CSPDWeek 2026
Thursday August 6, 2026 11:00am - 1:00pm EDT

Over the past three years, Experience AI has worked with educators and students around the world to explore what meaningful AI literacy looks like in practice. Created as a free global education program to help students develop a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning, Experience AI has evolved in response to what we've learned about student misconceptions, teacher needs, and making AI education accessible across diverse learning contexts.

In this session, we'll revisit key ideas from our original resources and share how our thinking about AI literacy has changed. We'll discuss common misconceptions students have about AI systems, the growing need for AI literacy skills, and the knowledge young people need to navigate our digital world. Throughout the session, we'll demonstrate student activities from the Experience AI resources that bring these concepts to life and provide practical, classroom-ready strategies you can use with your own students.

Join us as we reflect on lessons learned, explore what's next for Experience AI, and consider practical ways to adapt AI literacy resources for your curriculum. You'll leave with ideas and free resources to help students think critically and talk confidently about artificial intelligence.
