Digital Citizenship & Online Safety Resources

This workshop is designed to introduce engaging activities and free resources available for teaching Internet safety to elementary and middle school students.

Discover interactive digital citizenship tools and curriculum options covering essential, age-appropriate topics such as cyberbullying, password security, malware, social media safety, and privacy. Participants will explore ready-to-use teacher guides, lesson plans, and interactive student activities—including Google’s Interland, Common Sense Media, and other educational cyber safety games—to help build safe and responsible online habits in the classroom.

Technology Teacher (K-5), Willingboro Public Schools

Kara Keefe is a Technology Teacher in Willingboro NJ. She currently teaches technology to grades K to 4th grade in one of the elementary schools. Kara has been teaching Technology for the last for the past 12 years to as low as Kindergarten to as high as 5th grade.
