About me
Marci Klein, M.D. is a clinical and academic pediatrician with over 25 years of experience in early childhood development, education, and social-emotional health. She transitioned into education to create more engaging, deeper, and authentic learning experiences that support all learners. Dr. Klein develops a wide range of project-based learning resources informed by her extensive expertise in child development, diverse learning styles, and student well-being. Her curricula focus on real-world problem solving through community-centered design challenges, blending hands-on creative play, the arts, culture, and environmental awareness with traditional STEM education.
In addition to curriculum development, Dr. Klein works directly with educators to provide professional development on implementing project-based learning and integrating STEM into their classrooms. She also collaborates with a wide range of professionals—including occupational therapists, psychologists, talented and gifted specialists, and special education experts—to continually push the envelope on creating authentic, inclusive, and flexible learning experiences that can be successfully implemented in real-world classroom settings. Dr. Klein’s work also includes partnerships with other consultants who deliver professional development or serve as liaisons to support schools in adapting programs to meet their unique needs. Through this collaborative approach, Dr. Klein’s work empowers the next generation of innovators to create a more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future.
